Koud afdichten
Bij koudsealen is alleen druk nodig om een perfecte kaart op kaart te sealen. Een cold seal blister kaart is gecoat met drukgevoelige cohesief uit de Ecobliss CS8000-serie die het mogelijk maakt om de kaart te sealen zonder warmte of elektriciteit te gebruiken. Dit maakt het verpakkingsproces eenvoudig, snel en zeer kosteneffectief. Ter ondersteuning van dit verpakkingsproces is er een scala aan verpakkingsapparatuur beschikbaar, van zeer eenvoudig tot sterk geautomatiseerd. Cold seal blister verpakking is daarom schaalbaar voor elke verpakkingsklus, klein of groot.
Goed zichtbare schappresentatie
Ecobliss cold seal blister verpakking bestaat uit een drukgevoelige fold-over, of een aparte voor- en achterkant blister kaart, en een transparante blister. De blister is ingeklemd tussen twee stukken karton die onder druk zijn verlijmd zonder gebruik te maken van warmte. Samen vormen blister en de kaart een mooie, goed zichtbare schappresentatie voor je product. Een ander voordeel van deze technologie is dat de mensen die de verpakking maken niet worden blootgesteld aan gevaarlijke of onprettige straling, hitte, geur of geluid. Duurzame cold seal verpakkingen bevatten plastic dat gemakkelijk kan worden gerecycled. Meestal wordt een doorzichtige PET film gebruikt om de blister te produceren, en uiteraard wordt gerecycled PET altijd aanbevolen.
Benefits of cold sealing
Cold-seal blister packaging offers several advantages over traditional heat-seal methods. This method relies on pressure to form a secure seal, which not only protects the product's integrity but also significantly increases packaging speed, up to ten times faster, than heat-sealing. In 1995, together with Professor G. Wouters, Ron Linssen, managing director of Ecobliss, developed a new, innovative cold sealing technology for blister packaging.
